Wood Practice Chanter
The Pipers’ Choice Deluxe Long Wood Practice chanter is the nicest practice chanter that we make. It has the same finger spacing as a bagpipe chanter so that there is a smooth transition from practice to performance. The bottom and top piece of the practice chanter are made from African Blackwood. The top piece is lined on the inside with delrin and a water trap to avoid cracking of the wood. This chanter has an imitation sole, and a nickel ferrule. This practice chanter has a great tone and it is a joy to play. All Pipers Choice Practice chanters come with a practice chanter reed.
